Drama Club
We have an Early Years Drama Club on Thursday mornings.
This class will be provided by Debutots and will cover the Foundation Stage curriculum with unique weekly classes taking the children into the world of drama and stories where they will create characters and places, go on exciting pretend journeys and jump from stepping stone to stepping stone through imagination.
The aim is to help children with Building self confidence, Enriching Vocabulary, Encouraging Self Expression and Stimulating Imagination.
Young children respond extremely positively to creative learning and using Drama to explore a theme allows children, both shy and bold, to learn at their own pace, in a safe, supportive and playful environment.
Working within a structured imaginary framework allows a child to comfortably explore their emotional responses to a situation, learn and experiment with new language, and work both independently with confidence and with a sense of belonging in a group.
Whilst your children will have the freedom to imagine and create characters and places, Debutots practitioners will constantly shape their journeys so they are continuously learning, cooperating, making decisions, enquiring and being expressive.
